For our location in Copenhagen, we are looking for a
Mechanic for Ground Support Equipment (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Maintenance and repair of GSE according to recognized technical rules and manufacturer specifications
- Compliance with accident prevention regulations
- Operation of GSE, commercial vehicles and cars/vans for functional testing
- Carrying out test drives or business trips
- Loading and unloading (including load securing) as well as accompanying transports and non-airport personnel
- Out-of-town work to ensure the operational readiness of GSE, commercial vehicles and cars/vans
- Ensuring order and cleanliness in the workplace, technical equipment and in the workshop area
- Independent documentation of the activity
Your qualification
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with experience in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of GSE, including motorized equipment used in airport operations.
- Familiarity with maintenance schedules and procedures for large-scale mechanical equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory standards in a mechanical workshop.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate airport equipment.
