Workshop Manager for Ground Support Equipment (m/f/d)
Your tasks
Workshop Setup:
- Plan and execute the setup of the workshop for motorized GSE.
- Design the workshop layout to ensure optimal workflow and efficient use of space.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of necessary equipment and tools
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise workshop staff, ensuring a high level of performance.
- Promote a culture of safety and efficiency within the workshop team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance for continuous improvement.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all motorized GSE, ensuring equipment is always in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with equipment, coordinating with technicians when necessary.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Inventory Management:
- Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Implement procedures for regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of parts and tools.
Quality Control:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Address any non-compliance or quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the workshop budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to workshop operations.
Your qualification
- Proven experience in workshop management, preferably in the field of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or similar industries
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of GSE maintenance, repair procedures, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory management and procurement processes.
- Ability to manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality control procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Danish language skills are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
